About the Author Founded in 2018, Wilton Books is an independent publishing house and book publishing company of quirky, clever and BEAUTIFULLY illustrated children’s books for children (and bicycles!) and families. About the PublisherWilton Books is a new venture but with clear intent: we want to publish books that are original, funny and rooted in a place- bringing on board fresh voices with a strong narrative as a trusted children’s book publisher.

Established by a former lawyer with 30 years' writing experience, Wilton Books was created to help new writers and illustrators make publishing more achievable. Seeing the difficulty on the part of new talents to penetrate in large commercial publishing houses, the project offers a supportive platform where storytelling and illustration and thoughtful design are equally recognized within children’s book publishing.

Wilton Books aims to create quality children’s books that are thought provoking and visually pleasing. Every title is hand-picked to the highest standards with its unique editorial and great design, making subscription a potential entry into prestigious literary and design awards. Outside of the print, Wilton Books works in all other medias to make sure that it's writers are heard and read as part of a growing children’s book publishing ecosystem.

Backed by a team of veteran editors, proofreaders, illustrators, graphic designers and distributors , Wilton Books share its passion with other creative folks in creating tangible books that last a lifetime. The company’s initial releases mark the Lakeland Mysteries, involving entertaining and adventurous stories for more mature children situated amid the powerful scenery of England’s Lake District, strengthening its position as a respected book publishing company.
