I'm a Strategic Preventive Health Coach focused on an integrated, evidence-based approach to wellbeing. In my opinion the human body is a thinking ecosystem in which all systems are interdependent and continuously communicating with one another. By implementing four cornerstones of preventative health— optimal sleep, anti-inflammatory foods, stress mitigation , and sustainable fitness—I craft lasting change in their body and mind.
I consult corporate companies, private individuals, and the NHS, providing evidence-based tips to enable people to have their health in their hands. My Corporate Wellness Courses and Workshops are aimed at increasing the fitness of employees, decreasing burnout, increasing energy levels, and supporting long-term organisational success.
My work is highly influenced by my own trajectory in life. Born and raised in Belarus, I spent my childhood in the “Chernobyl generation” and had a firsthand experience of how the environment affects human health in developing countries. I learned early on that health is also about prevention and community support.
When I was 18, I started volunteering for the Chernobyl Children’s Project in Ireland, which coordinated health recuperation programmes for children from contaminated areas. Doing child health, nutrition, and social welfare set me up for the long term in prevention of disease and health care.
My career thus far has included stints in journalism, focusing on child development and nutrition. When I reported the increase in childhood obesity in the UK, it was clear to me that there was a lot of public misunderstanding about preventative lifestyle measures. This encouraged me to become a Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, the largest nutrition school in the world.
Now, my method is grounded in sleep science, nutrition science, behavioural science, and neuroscience. I use new evidence-based studies and information as they are published, and am reviewing all research, both pro and con. I assist clients in making sustainable lifestyle changes, which will positively impact metabolic wellness, emotional well-being, productivity, resilience, and quality of life.
What drives me: I am inspired by enabling people (individuals and teams) to learn about their bodies, build better habits, and have sustainable good health.
