HF Jensen is a world leader in precision sensors and precision sensor technology, providing high-resolution sensors designed for the most extreme and rugged environments. For over 100 years, we have been developing and manufacturing complex sensors for many different applications, making it possible to operate with deep-sea services or top technological industrial equipment where other technologies do not last. Our expertise also extends into industrial sensors, harsh-environment sensors, marine sensors, and extreme-condition sensors, ensuring reliable performance across diverse sectors.

As a machine-tool workshop, founded in 1917 by Hans Frederik Jensen, we have more than half of our years behind us, which are made up of missions impossible challenged and accomplished with durable and high-quality sensors under rough conditions. That tradition of artisanship, engineering excellence, and testing innovation continues to influence our progress, supported by high-quality engineering, industrial instrumentation, and durable sensor components that stand the test of time.

Just outside Copenhagen, we are able to keep full control from design to manufacturing from our in-house production with 100% in-house development and production. By combining modern manufacturing capabilities, automation, and robotics, we are able to provide accuracy, productivity, and scale of production that meets the high-reliability demands of industries as industrial automation, marine instrumentation, through to process control and harsh environment monitoring, including advanced environmental monitoring sensors and vibration sensors.

Our Journey

1917: HF Jensen is established as a machine-tool workshop based on craftsmanship and engineering accuracy.

1972: The 3rd generation, Jens Krøijer Jensen, founds the sensor division, and here we start to focus on advanced sensor technology.

Today, we design, build, and test our sensors at our lab in the 1,200m2 facility – with better performance plus running life, and less variability- locally.
