We are a small business in Northern Wisconsin and a sustainable brand in Wisconsin, focused on creating specialty locally made outdoor gear and eco-friendly apparel and gear out of the amazing beauty of the world around us.

We are community life lovers, adventure seekers, and admirers of the great outdoors, and our every creation reflects our passion. Every item that we make shows that we believe that ethical handmade goods and good living are not mutually exclusive. We are proud of our sustainable lifestyle products, ethical manufacturing practices, eco-conscious brand values, and the use of locally produced fabrics wherever feasible to show respect to the Lake Superior inspired products and beautiful Northwoods surroundings that have been our inspiration.

Our Story

Meet the founder of Snow Sleeves® – amateur designer Amy (she is a mother of three) who transformed her love of nature and design into a successful outdoor adventure brand and sustainable fashion business. In 2018, Amy became the founder of AdventureUs, a shop and sustainable sewing studio in Northern Wisconsin, where they would distribute Snow Sleeves® and other studio-made sustainable outdoor clothing and sustainable outdoor accessories to explorers all over.

All the products we create in our sewing studio in Northern Wisconsin are handmade in Wisconsin and crafted to improve your adventures – be it hiking, skiing, camping, or just spending a day outside. Since the time of long-lasting Northern Wisconsin handmade products and handmade eco-friendly gifts, AdventureUs has turned out to be a reliable eco-friendly business near Lake Superior among both adventure and family-minded visitors.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is not a gimmick with us, but a value. We are delighted to be a part of the slow fashion movement and uphold the ideas of repair, reuse, and recycle through our sister company Rip and Stitch Sewing Company, that offers professional gear repair and clothing alterations.

When we extend the life of our beloved products, we allow for reducing waste and further development of ethical manufacturing practices that do not harm people and the environment.
